Our purpose is to...

• Provide a forum to share and discuss interesting, informative, provocative literature about issues in librarianship, particularly those with implications for information literacy and library instruction
• Allow time during our work day for reflection and philosophical consideration of topics of importance to us
• Promote a shared understanding of the principles which inform our daily activities
• Allow us time to think about the “why” of what we do
